Venmo Payment App Free Credit

venmopayemntThe Venmo person-to-person payment smartphone app is offering a free $7 credit to the first 5,000 people to sign up via Android Police. Just sign up through this Venmo $7 Credit Link and follow the instructions to get your free $7 credit.

UPDATE:  This is now $3 Credit here at this link.

You can find the full instructions at Android Police including some details in the comments in case you are having any issues.  This free $7 credit is only available to the first 5,000 users who sign up for Venmo through the special link, but the credits are going fast, so hurry if you want to get yours today.

Basically you have to click the link and enter your phone number.  They will text you to click on a link from your SMS Message.  You then download the Venmo APP and once you download it you will see your Facebook friends on there.  Pretty neat.  It actually showed some of my friends paying each other money.  It only gave me $1 because a friend had invited me already and once they invite you it takes away this promotion.   Then again it could be because I have an iPhone and this seems to be geared towards Androids.  What was your luck with this?  Either way it looks like a useful app.

This offer is not available for existing Venmo users and is only available to U.S. residents.
