Samsung Galaxy S3 Review: I’ve found my love!

It’s that time again…time for another look at the Samsung Galaxy S3.  I’ve been doing a little traveling away from the comfort of my desktop and home Internet.  As a blogger you know this presents a problem.

No Internet = No Work.

As you may recall, one of my favorite features of the Motorola RAZR was its hotspot.  You’ll imagine my excitement when I found the hotspot on the Galaxy.  So far so good.  I’m not sure if it’s my imagination or what but I think the hotspot on the Galaxy is faster.  I’m sure you’d have to look at the nerd side of it and figure out the processor speed and stuff like that since both phones at 4G.

One of the biggest problems I faced with the hotspot on the RAZR was when we were traveling in the car or visiting my family out in the sticks. So far neither location has failed to connect or slowed in service.

As I type this now I’m using the hotspot while waiting at the doctors for what I’m hoping will be my last prenatal appointment.  Running like a champ with full 4G service.

I have been seeking the reviews of several family/ friends for the Galaxy S3 as well. Here’s what they have to say.

“This is a sweet phone much like the iPhone. The processor is fast and the graphics are amazing!”

“Very comparable to the iPhone. Apple better watch out!”

Haha right! I’m still not sold on this phone. I love my Apples and will be hard-pressed to purchase anything else. I can see where the comparison comes from though. The Galaxy is the “fanciest” Android phone I’ve used.

I looked very closely at this phone when debating iPhone 5 upgrade or jumping ship! I decided on the iPhone only for the ability to facetime with my kids on their iPod Touches when I’m traveling.

I did think it was funny that one of the quotes you got from someone was “… Apple better watch out.” That made me giggle since Apple just won a billion dollar settlement over Samsung because of phones like the Galaxy S III.
