This is another new post I will start as a regular deal. My son’s birthday was this week and he turned the big 4. My mother and I decided he needed a Leapfrog product. I picked out the Tag Learning system (as pictured). This is AMAZING! I haven’t tried all of his books with it yet and I can hardly wait! This has got to be the coolest toy I’ve seen in a long time! You put the pin on the words or pictures and he “talks” to you. It can read the story, play games etc. Check out all the specifics here. Most of all my son LOVES IT! He’s learning and having fun!

Here’s where my frugality comes in to play. The system cost around $49.99 (pin, software, usb and one book) The books are around $13.99. Last week Toys’r’us and target both had them on sale. I choose Toys’r’us b/c mom sent his bday gift for there. The system was on sale for $39.99 and the books were 25% off. I had printed the $10 off from coupons.com and had some $5 off from the inserts. (I think were also available online) The system came out to $29.99 and books to $5.49. I got the system and 5 books for $57.45 (+tax)! I saved $62.50 or 52%! Not too shabby huh?!
