Get $5 for sending an Amazon Gift Card to a Facebook Friend
Another great way to earn $5 is to send someone a Birthday gift using Amazon’s new Birthday Gifter which does basically what Facebook does with an Amazon card. It still posts on your friends wall if you wish and tells them that they have a gift card waiting on them.
You can send $1, $5, $10, or $25 gift cards to each friend. Amazon Birthday Gift to be an easy and quick gifting experience, driven by friends joining together to create a meaningfully sized gift for a friend’s birthday. If you’d like to gift a friend more than $25, we recommend sending an Amazon.com gift card where you can select any denomination to gift here.
The cool thing about this is that you can actually invite other friends to join you and make it a bigger birthday or wedding gift. Lots of my friends seem to be getting married right now so this would be great coming from an office of 7 or so contributing towards a big Amazon card they could spend freely.
Invitations via Facebook on non-mobile devices and via email on mobile devices. On non-mobile, invitations are delivered as a private Facebook messages to the recipients you select (and you can select multiple Facebook friends to invite). If you only invite Facebook friends, the recipients will not know who else has been invited, and any follow-up conversations you have with them will remain private. If you also (or only) invite people by entering their email addresses instead auto-adding Facebook friends, those email recipients will be able to see who else has been invited and will also have the ability to ‘reply-all’ to the list of invitees. On mobile, the friends you invited will be able to see the other invitees and reply back to any subset of the full list.
