21 Days to Being Better Organized: Day 5
As you saw on Day 3 I am a fan of the Couponizer. You can have all the best, highest value coupons available but if you can’t find them when it’s time to redeem them you’re SOL. One of the biggest no-no’s of couponing is not being able to find your coupons. It doesn’t matter what you use to organize them as long as you can find them and find them quickly.
There’s nothing worse than standing in the aisle of the store fumbling through your organizer, the kids are screaming and you can’t find the coupon which results in (gasp) paying full price! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve even left the coupons at home. They are in the printer tray, unclipped in the insert, laying on the counter….Point is they are not where they need to be which is in the store with me.
Once you do have them clipped, make sure that the manner they are in your organizer makes since to you. If you remember Pillsbury Cresent Rolls best in the dairy section don’t put them in the bread section. If you consider Toaster Strudels breakfast and not frozen but them there.
Make sure your expiring coupons are on top so you will use them first and they won’t expire.
I personally use The Couponizer. I think it’s the easiest to use and most compact. The best place I found to get them is through Amazon.com You can snag these for under $20 and even less when you redeem an Amazon gift card you received through Swagbucks.
We have 7 more days are you ready to get it together?
